Acadiana Humane Society‘s Director, Sue Rabeaux, has a birthday on July 25th. She will be spending her day volunteering at Petco trying to find home for adoptable rescue animals. We are asking that you stop by and help us celebrate her birthday. Her birthday wish is to be able to completely pay off our animal rescue’s current vet bills; and to be able to purchase microchips, vaccinations, flea medications, and all the pet food and other supplies needed for the month of July and possibly August too. In order to do this, she is asking her friends, family members, and anyone else who feels so inclined, to honor her birthday by making a donation to Acadiana Humane Society or to purchase much needed items for the animals. We are a 501c3 non-profit, no-kill animal rescue. If you are local, please stop by Petco on Louisiana Ave. and leave your gift for the animals at our adoption table. Note: We will have a volunteer, Brent, available at Petco North when the store opens on Saturday. Brent will be there to accept donations for us, as well as to have t-shirt available for those who want one. For your $15 donation, you can choose a color t-shirt. For a $10 donation you can choose a white t-shirt. If you don’t want a t-shirt, you can still donate to help us with our vet bills. Please be aware that Sue and the adoptable animals will arrive at 11:00 am. The event will end around 2:00 pm, or possibly later if we are busy with potential adopters.
