Anxiety is a serious problem for millions of dogs. And dogs that have been rescued by one of the thousands of terrific rescue groups across the country, or turned into one of the thousands of animal shelters have a much higher rate of anxiety issues. Many dogs are turned in or abandoned BECAUSE they suffer from anxiety… their anxiety symptoms can be very destructive or hard to manage for many dog owners if they don’t have the resources or knowledge to help their suffering pets. Thundershirt Company is donating Thundershirts and thousands of Dollars to help these organizations manage their dogs’ anxieties and find them good homes.

Thundershirt Company strives to bring relief to the millions of dogs that suffer from anxiety, and is proud to support dogs in shelters nationwide for the holidays. Please help us spread the word about this promotion – and help bring Thundershirts to your local shelter.

Already helping tens of thousands of dogs, more than 80% of dog owners who have tried Thundershirt report significant improvement in their pets’ symptoms.  Thundershirt’s gentle, constant pressure has an terrific calming effect for most dogs if they are anxious, fearful or over-excited.  This calming effect has been proven successful for fear of thunder, fireworks, separation anxiety, travel, problem barking, reactivity, general excitability and more.  Thousands of veterinarians and trainers are recommending them for their clients.  Thundershirts are inexpensive ($36), totally safe, comfortable, and come with a money-back guarantee.

Please join Acadiana Humane Society, Best Friends, and the Petco Foundation in helping keep pets and families together! November 5th through 14th Best Friends has a table set up at the Lafayette Petco to promote Acadiana Humane Society and Petco Foundations Food Bank program. Patty Mehan, Best Friends volunteer, will be available on Saturday, November 13th and Sunday, November 14th to promote the Food Bank. A donation bin is always available at the Lafayette Petco to collect donated dry and canned cat food, dry and canned dog food, and cat litter. However, between November 5th and 14th, all donations of Hill’s Science Diet pet food will be matched pound for pound by Hill’s. The pet food donated and placed into the bin at Petco goes into Acadiana Humane Society’s Food Bank. This pet food is then provided to families suffering from economical stress to help them keep their pets.
