Our Animal Rescue Events

Below are the events that we plan to participate in the near future (event participation is subject to change due to availability of volunteers). 1. Saturday, Aug 24th  9 AM to 12 Noon: Tractor Supply Pet Event in Opelousas Pet Food Drive & Fundraiser. Accepting donations of cat food & litter, rabbit food, livestock & chicken feed, Hay, small animal bedding, gift cards, etc. Sanctuarium Emporium will be there with their hand crafted, one of a kind original jewelry & Art.  
2. Friday, Aug 30th, all day: Pocket Pet Adoption Event at Petco on Louisiana Ave. 
3. Saturday, Aug 31st, all day: Pocket Pet Adoption Event at Petco on LA. Ave.
4. Sunday, Sept 1st, all day: Pocket Pet Adoption Event at Petco on LA. Ave.
5. Sunday, Sept 8th, 2 PM to 5 PM: Petco National Adoption Event at Petco on LA. Ave.
6. Thursday, Sept 19th, 5 PM to 8 PM: Blaze Pizza Fundraiser Please show this flyer when ordering at the event.
   
7. Saturday & Sunday, Sept 21st & 22nd 9 AM to 7 PM: Petco National Adoption Weekend at both Lafayette Petco stores for adoptions by appointment: Petco South at 605 Settler’s Trace Blvd. and also at Petco North at 3215 Louisiana Ave.
8. Saturday, Sept 28th, 9 AM to 12 Noon: Farmer’s Market at Tractor Supply in Opelousas
9. Saturday, Oct 5th, 11 AM to 3 PM: Gander Outdoors in Breaux Bridge Fundraiser & Adoption Event during their city wide garage sale.
10. Saturday & Sunday, Oct 5th & 6th 9 AM to 7 PM: Petco National Adoption Weekend at both Lafayette Petco stores for adoptions by appointment: Petco South at 605 Settler’s Trace Blvd. and also at Petco North at 3215 Louisiana Ave.
11. Saturday & Sunday, October 12th & 13th: Pumpkin Patch Craft Show. Look for our Red Rajun Cajun tent for original hand crafted jewelry & Art fundraisers. Free dog clothes & pet gifts. Donations accepted at our tent, but are not required.
12. Saturday, October 19th 10 AM to 6 PM: AVC Anime Festival at the Cajundome Convention Center. Look for Sanctuarium Emporium’s booth as our volunteers run this. A portion of the proceeds from this table goes to our animal rescue.
13. Thursday, October 24th, 5 PM to 8 PM: Howl-O-Ween FUNdraiser at Blaze Pizza 
14. Saturday, Nov 2nd, 10 AM to 2 PM: Bark in the Park at Girard Park. AHS has a tent with fundraiser items and adoptable pets at this AAA sponsored fundraiser.
15.  Saturday & Sunday, Nov 2nd & 3rd 9 AM to 7 PM: Petco National Adoption Weekend at both Lafayette Petco stores for adoptions by appointment: Petco South at 605 Settler’s Trace Blvd. and also at Petco North at 3215 Louisiana Ave.
16. Saturday, Nov 9th 9 AM to 3 PM: Look for our booth at the Milton Market at Milton Elementary School (222 W. Milton Ave, Lafayette, LA. 70508). We will be selling original hand crafted jewelry & Art. We’ll also be giving away free dog clothes and pet gifts. Donations are welcome, but not required.
17. Saturday, Dec 7th (Times TBA): Photos with Santa at Petco North at 3215 Louisiana Ave.
18. Saturday & Sunday, Dec 7th & 8th 9 AM to 7 PM: Petco Home for the Holidays National Adoption Weekend at both Lafayette Petco stores for adoptions by appointment: Petco South at 605 Settler’s Trace Blvd. and also at Petco North at 3215 Louisiana Ave.
19. Saturday, Dec 14th (Time TBA): Photos with Santa at Petco North at 3215 Louisiana Ave.
