Acadiana Humane Society volunteers were honored to have our animal rescue nominated by Chip’s adoptive parents for the Tractor to Tractor Rescue to Rescue Contest in August 2018! We were surprised and amazed that we made it to the top ten! We were all overjoyed when it was announced that we made 3rd place and won $3,500.00! This will go a long way to pay off our current vet bills so that we can continue to save more lives! Thank you to Chip’s family for nominating our rescue! Thank you to everyone who shared and voted for Chip! Thank you to Tractor Supply Co. for this opportunity, and for the wonderful prize to help the animals! Thank you to Tractor Supply Co. in Opelousas for allowing us to host adoption events and fundraisers at your store, and for presenting us with the giant $3.5K check!
