Alley Cat Allies launched National Feral Cat Day on their 10th anniversary in 2001 to raise awareness about feral (also called community) cats, promote Trap-Neuter-Return, and empower and mobilize the millions of compassionate Americans who care for them.

Acadiana Humane Society has always promoted and participated in TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return). Our volunteers do what they can to help feral and community cats in their neighborhoods. We also have a Spay/Neuter Fund to help with TNR and also with low income families and individuals in spaying/neutering their cats. If you would like to donate to our Spay/Neuter Program, you can send Paypal donations to spay@acadianahumane.org or if you use the Paypal button on the side of our website, please make a note that it is for Spay/Neuter Program. You can also send a check or money order made out to Acadiana Humane Society to our mailing address at P.O. Drawer C; Sunset, LA 70584-0536 with the memo “Spay/Neuter.” We can not do what we do, without your support and donations. Thank you!
