Join Acadiana Humane Society volunteers at the New Iberia 4th Annual Holiday Market! We will have a booth at this huge shopping event at New Iberia City Park (La-87 300 Parkview Ave, New Iberia, Louisiana 70560).
Three Geeks Studio will be at our table with their original, one of a kind, hand crafted jewelry and rosaries helping to raise money for the rescue animals. We will also have hand sewn purses by Pinky, animal rescue t-shirts, and other crafts to help raise money for the animals. We will also have lots of pet toys, pet supplies, and pet clothing available for a donation! The pet items will be in bins sorted by suggested donation! We will have a $1.00 bin, a $5.00 bin, a $10.00 bin, etc. Every penny of every dollar raised on the items in the bargain bins will go to Acadiana Humane Society to help the rescue animals! Don’t miss out! Here is your chance to do some holiday shopping and help the animals! Be sure and join our event page as we will post pictures as we have time of what will be available. We will be accepting both cash and credit/debit cards at our booth.
In addition to our booth, there will be many other vendors there as well with various crafts and holiday gift ideas. Only the money raised at the Acadiana Humane Society booth will go to the rescue. There will also be food trucks and fun things for the whole family! Come on our and have fun! But be sure to stop by our table and help the animals. Thank you! *Also, please be aware that while our office may be closed during some days, we will reply to emails and process applications as we can. We are a foster based rescue, so there is no public facility to visit. Our animals can be viewed online on our Facebook page and our Petfinder page. If you are interested in meeting one or more of our pets, please download and fill out our prescreening application and submit it to us via email or fax. Email is actually faster as we are not always in the office to check the fax machine, and sometimes the fax fails. Once an application is processed, we can make an appointment to meet, or we will arrange to bring the selected pet to our next adoption event. Our animal rescue is 100% volunteer and all of our volunteers have families and jobs outside of the rescue, so it may take a little time to hear back from us. While we try to respond to everything within one business day, we get hundreds of emails and messages daily, and sometimes it is just not possible to reply to every one right away. Email is usually the fastest way to get a response, since replies can be made late at night if need be. We believe it is important to allow our volunteers some free time to spend with their families.
