Acadiana Humane Society is participating this year by collecting funds all during the month of February for the Acadiana Humane Society Spay/Neuter Fund. This fund is used to help low income people and families who qualify to get their cat, dog, or rabbit spayed or neutered at 50% off or free, depending on their income/need. PayPal donations for the Spay/Neuter Fund can be sent to Checks or money orders can be sent to Acadiana Humane Society; ATTN: Spay/Neuter Fund; P.O. Drawer C; Sunset, LA 70584-0536.

If you are in the Acadiana area and can not afford to spay or neuter your cat or dog, please contact us at to request an application for our Spay/Neuter program. If you qualify and we have funds available then we will be able to help. If no funds are available, then we will let you know about other programs in the area that you may be able to get assistance from. This program is available all year as long as there is funding available. Thank you!
