Acadiana Humane Society will be at the Lafayette Petco on Louisiana Avenue (click here to view map) on most Saturdays (see list below for exact dates) from Noon to 4PM for our Adoption Event. Adopt a pet during these adoption events and enjoy additional savings from PETCO’s Think Adoption First™ Care and Savings program.
We’ll be there with lots of kittens, cats, dogs, rabbits, and other small animals that are available for adoption! Click here to find out more about our adoption process and fees. Please stop by and visit! We’re also accepting donations of pet food and supplies for our rescue animals if you would like to help. Thank you!
If you can’t donate, you can help in other ways! You can hold a fundraiser (bake sale, lemonade stand, yard sale, etc.) and donate the proceeds to Acadiana Humane Society. You can also open your home to foster cats, dogs, or small animals. You can also share our need with your friends and see if they can help. Thank you!
We are currently in need of several items. If you would like to donate them, you may do so at the Lafayette Petco on Louisiana Avenue, or at the Bridge Storage on Ambassador Caffery. Donation boxes are available in the lobby at the Ambassador Caffery Bridge Storage. Please mark AHS on the packages to be sure they know it is for our rescue. There is also a PayPal link on the side of this webpage if you would like to make a financial donation. Thank you! List includes, but is not limited to the following items:

- New or Clean Litter Boxes
