Acadiana Humane Society, a non-profit no-kill animal rescue will be at the Lafayette Petco on Louisiana Ave. showcasing a selection of our adoptable rescue pets on Saturday, September 18th from Noon until 4PM. We will have dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc. available for adoption. Possibly even some baby corn snakes from Zoo-Zoom! We will also have our adoption book with us with photos of all other available pets. Wild Cat SpayNation for Dogs and Cats is holding a FREE Rabies Clinic for cats and dogs from 1-6 p.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2010.
It will be held at the Lafayette Jockey Lot on Evangeline Thruway (next to Hub City Ford).
There are no income requirements or geographical restrictions, any owned cat or dog is welcome and while supplies last, all cats and dogs who attend will receive a free Rabies vaccination, with certificate and tag.
Low-cost spay/neuter vouchers will also be distributed at the event.
