Just a quick update to let everyone know that due to emergencies and other urgent matters this week, our volunteers are behind on checking the main email accounts. Also, due to these same issues, no volunteers have been available to answer the office phone most of the week. Our phone also doubles as our fax machine, to allow those who do not have email to be able to fax in applications. If you have emailed in an application this week, one of our volunteers will get back to you as soon as possible. Completed applications that were faxed in have been responded to via returned phone calls. However, faxed messages just asking us to call you, have not yet been tended to. We are a small non-profit rescue and do the best we can we the volunteers that we have. All volunteers have families and full time jobs outside of our animal rescue.
We will still be having our adoption event this Saturday, March 4th from 12Noon until 4PM at the Lafayette Petco on Louisiana Avenue. If you sent in an application this week, and do not get a call or email back before Saturday, please feel free to stop by Petco during our adoption event if you would like to talk to one of our volunteers about the pet you are interested in.
